Hello!! I have a ten gallon tank and for the last 2 weeks, my male Platy has been chasing my 2 females. I knew it was trying to breed with them. I did not see a pregnant female, but I was about to clean my tank when I saw 2 fry They are really small. I knew the adults would eat them,so I tried to scoop them up. They ran into the gravel where I found 2 more. I put all of them in a .3 gallon nursery where the water gets pumped in from my main tank and then back out. I feed them crushed flakes and brine shrimp. Any thing else Ican do?

As long as they can't get sucked up and they aren't getting blown around by the water flow, you should be good. Maybe just add some cover like a plastic plant or something that floats around for them to hide in.

Hi! So write now you baby fry are in a .3 gallon tank with water flowing in from your 10 gallon? If so then it sounds like your doing everything write! Just make sure the flow isn't to strong or it could stress and kill your fry. Other then that it sounds like your doing good! Best wishes

I covered my filter up with a coffee filter and put a rubber band around it so it doesn't suck baby fry in to it
