I was a fish keeper at a pet shop in Montclaire California and, around that time (MANY moons ago) I was also a tropical fish enthusiast. Well, maybe "enthusiast" isn't the right word; addict? I went from a small 10 gallon old style, steel framed tank that someone gave me. Then, in less than a year, seven tanks at two houses... Then, for some reason, after about three years, I lost the "bug" and dropped it all. Now, I'm back into it again. Started with a tall 10 gallon kit, bought a 15 gallon curved front on Craigslist. Now, maxed out at three (my house isn't big enough for any more) with a small two gallon betta tank, the home of a handsome cobalt blue betta splendens. Well, there's also the two 5 gallons tubs I'm raising brine shrimp in for fish food, but they're not "tanks". Does three equal multi, as in MTS?
