Hello just join today,

I have been "hooked" for 6 month now , found it really relaxing, i have a 58 litres tank and set up a 165 litres recently, i have 3 serpae tetra and one of them developed a growth on the fore head just above the mouth, this came almost overnight, is this a disease ? the fish look well and i didn't notice anything else.

Can you help thank you

Moerlen

tried to add a pic it wouldn't accept it, it looked like a pinky fleshy mole above the left eye, no white

Welcome to Fish Lore
I agree, a pic would help. Is it cottony looking? Columnaris comes to mind, but again, a pic would help.

Good luck!

Hello and Welcome to Fish Lore!

Here is a link on how to post photos:

https://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/how-do-i/12826-how-do-i-attach-pictures-my-post.html

If you still have issues posting photos, if you upload and get a white screen then your photos are too large and need to be re-sized. You can re-size your photos here:

http://www.picresize.com/

I use the above link myself. If for some reason you still have problems let one of the Moderators know.

Have fun and I hope you enjoy the site.
Best wishes for your fish.

Ken

Hope you don't mind, I merged your threads. It's best to keep the information together.
I'm sorry, I really can't tell anything by the pictures.

Hello lucy,

It seems after a few days that the growth is reducing i believe it might have been a little injury due to all that chasing in the tank.
thanks for looking
