Heater Suggestion for 2.5G

    Hi everyone. I'm purchasing a 2.5G nano tank for my red cherry shrimp and was wondering if any of you had suggestions for a heater in a tank that small. Thanks for your help!

    Aqueon 25 watt. That's my go to brand works very well.

    That's too much wattage for a 2.5 and the heater is too big for the tank. I recommend this one, the 10w version:

    I didn't even know that heaters come in less that 25 watts! Great information.

    Yep, Hydor even makes a 7.5w heater specifically made for "betta bowls" but I dont really trust that it works.

    Hagen Marina Betta submersible 8 watt heater, this is the one that I use.

    Back when I was a newbie I had that in a tetra 1.5g tank it heated maybe 2 degrees from 72F.
