Heater Suggestion for 2.5G

That's too much wattage for a 2.5 and the heater is too big for the tank. I recommend this one, the 10w version:

I didn't even know that heaters come in less that 25 watts! Great information.

Yep, Hydor even makes a 7.5w heater specifically made for "betta bowls" but I don't really trust that it works.

Hagen Marina Betta submersible 8 watt heater, this is the one that I use.

Back when I was a newbie I had that in a tetra 1.5g tank it heated maybe 2 degrees from 72F.
