In trinidad, the temperature of the water is like 28-34 degrees celcius. Do i still need a heater or should i just get a chiller for my flowerhorn

    Definitely no heater.

A chiller is insanely expensive. I'd do with cold water daily water changes to keep it around 28C

Definitely a chiller. The size you need depends on the size of the tank and room temperature. I'm guessing the room isn't air conditioned? What's the humidity like? You might be able to get away with a fan...Wait, no on second thought, tropical island country, you've probably got like 110% humidity on a dry day. :)

Chillers aren't too expensive, in the US you can get small ones for $500, and should be good for a few degrees for a medium sized tank.

dude...i don't have $4000 to throw away for a chiller and the tanks are outside since we have a shead and isn't inn direct sunlight or rain.

Then why ask if you need a chiller?
