Heater for 8 litre betta tank?

Hello I'm thinking of getting an 8 litre tank (super fish 8) and keeping a Betta. What heater would you recommend for this?
Thank you for reading

You would need a nano 10 watt heater for that tank. They say 1 watt per litre so a 10 watt would be just fine

Hello oldbean, it's great that you are researching the equipment you need for your betta!
According to betta care sheet on this site https://www.fishlore.com/Profiles-Betta.htm bettas do best in 10 gallon (37l). A few members on this site I noticed keep bettas in 5 gallon (18.9 l) .
Do you think it would be possible for you to get 15 or 20 litre tank instead of 8? It shouldn't take up much more space or be much more expensive.

I second that. I wouldn't go below 5 gallon/20 liter.

Thank you Sabrina. That's perfect advice.
No I don't have the room for anything higher hence the choice of fish tbh.
Another question, I have Safe Start so I was wondering how long cycle for using it. The bottle says can add fish 24 hours later but I don't trust that advice TBH?

Test the water before you add fish, do you have a liquid test kit? I think the bare bare minimum is a 2.5g, but if you can get a 5 gallon that would be best.

I have all the stuff yes, I keep cold waters in another tank so all the equipment is there. Just have to get the new tank and heater. With the other tank I did a fish in cycle but I read Bettas are more sensitive and can't handle that.
