Hello, I am back with another question. I am a beginner betta owner and I have a 3 gallon tank setup with the Tetra submersible 50 watt heater that seemed to be working fine, I check the thermometer in my tank and it is always where it is supposed to be and the light comes on the heater when its not.
I just looked in my tank a few minutes ago and there is condensation inside the heater glass, I am assuming this is not good and did some research that said it is not a good sign. I unplugged the heater but now I am worried for my betta as my family keeps the house cool in the summer months.
I am very disappointed if this means my heater is already failing as I have literally had it for not even a week. Just wondering what I should do? If the consensus is that I should unplug it and that it is not safe to use I am going to try to take it back to Walmart and try to order a new one I guess. Any suggestions of a good heater for 3 gallon tank? Thanks so much for the help if you read this! Here's a picture of the heater and condensation.
