Having Problems With Moonlight Gourami.

I haven't read of anything about a moonlight gourami being aggressive to anything except other male gourami's so I don't know what to do with it. I can't move it to another tank since the only other tank that we have is a 15 gallon which is not suitable for an 9cm fish. Its in a 25 gallon at the moment with one angel fish (grow out for a 42 gallon that needs setting up). The gourami basically bullies anything that isn't a bottom dweller (my pleco's and pygmy cories) so my tank looks really bare. Is this territorial behaviour or simply aggression?

That's unusual for a moonlight but you never know with gouramis. I think it's being territorial, which you can try to correct by rearranging the tank. Move everything around. It can curb territorial aggression.

okay, thanks. I'll try getting more plants sometime soon. So every time he gets aggressive I just rearrange the d├ęcor.
