Have I room for a Bristlenose?

Hi... again (seem to be constantly on here lately!) This should be a simple one though

I've a 110L (26g) currently home to 10 neon tetras, 4 Assassin snails and 2 Panda Corydoras. I was planning on getting another 6 pandas but if I just get another 4 will I have room for a Bristlenose or will this be pushing my limits for stocking?

I would go for 6 more corys, they will be happier. You might still have room so wait until someone else comes. Maybe Anders247 and TexasDomer can help

Thank you. I'm getting a minimum of 6 corys all together. If i've room for 8 and a bristlenose then fantastic. But the bristlenose would be an extra as my hubby loves them. Corys come first at the moment as already have some and they need pals so if I have to leave the plec then so be it.

Fair enough, I thought i'd be pushing my luck to have that many. But that's great if there's enough room for all of them, certainly make the hubby happy Thank you

Does it have an external filter.

I would do the 6 cory and an albino bristle nose . It is pushing it a bit but with good water changes I think you would be fine. On the other hand I am very prejudice as they are my favorite fish. The neons have a very small bioload so I think it would work. That way you could each have your favorite. Make sure you have some real driftwood and a cave for the BN Pleco. Alison

No, the tanks built in to my living room wall so no space for an external filter. I'm running a Fluval U4 which runs aquariums upto 240 litres.

Have 2 'caves' - a helicopter with hidy holes and another ornament the same, also lots of tall live plants. Have what I believe to be bog wood in there already (got it as I read it helps reduce PH naturally? Looks nice aswell ) but shops here in UK seem to have things labelled up under many different names so not 100% it's real!

Thank you aliray We bred albino bristlenose a few years ago and they're such wonderful little fish so I can see why my husband loves them. But my friend gave me the 2 corys. She'd had them about a year and only ever had the 2 so I think it's time they had some buddies to hang out with first. I'm also very conscious of over stocking my aquariums - less I more sometimes. But once my corys are up to a happy number then will look into a BN

Maybe add 4 cories, the the BNP and see what your tank is doing nitrate production wise, then decide about the last two cories. Good luck!
