Ok back to a week ago I tried adding skittles my betta from his 5.5 gallon with ghost shrimp to a 20 gal community tank only for about 30 minutes maybe less or more idk. Anyways I took him out cause I didn’t have time to supervise cause he was acting questionable twords other fish. well I found out after the 20 gal tank has internal parasites. I’m treating them with prazipro and metroplex but does my betta have parasites From being in there for a short time or is he fine. I haven’t seen him poop all week not saying he hadn’t pooped I just never saw. He’s acting fine.

If he's acting fine a week after being exposed, I think he's likely okay, but I would treat him as if he was 100% exposed to them just in case. Unless you're treating with something really intense, it shouldn't do him much harm to medicate him.

I think I’m going to dose prazipro
