Has anyone tried using babyfood to make your own fish food?

I've heard of people combining baby food and gelatin to make snail food. I was wondering if anyone has tried it for fish?

Hi, I use baby food peas and frozen daphnia mixed with gelatin. I give it to all my fish one day a week. They love it.

I use baby food peas and frozen daphnia mixed with gelatin. A batch lasts me about 3 months. I feed it to all my fish one day a week and they eagerly go for it.

Do you just mix it all together and freeze it in bulk and break it off as you need it?

Microwave 1/2 cup water with 1 pkt gelatin til smooth. Add 4 oz sweet pea baby food and thawed frozen daphnia ( use about 6 cubes). I fill an ice cube tray and put in freezer for 2 hours. Then I take out of tray and cut in the size I need for one day feeding. Then I wrap the pieces up real good and freeze and pull out what I need each week.

Not to bad for my first try. I didn't have any daphnia or any frozen food for that matter so I substituted beef baby food and mixed it with the veggie baby food and some of the fish flakes. Combined all those with the gelatine. I did forget to puree some garlic so maybe next time. The fish went bazerk for it.
