Has anyone tried growing plants like this?

so I was wondering does anyone like or have grown stem plants like this?

I thought maybe I could do it to make some extra $$$$ is it easy? anything I should know?

 

Well that’s growing your plants emersed. When these plants are added to a tank the leaves tend to die because they grew above water. So they look good til they die off. I myself hate that growers do this. We’re not growing our plants out of the water we’re growing submersed under water.

 

I know... I was just thinking being an easy idea I would like to try it? does anyone have experience?

FYI, most commercial aquarium plants are grown above water.

Suggest you find what your local market wants first?

 

ive actually looked at that video! It just seems a little more labor/$$$ intensive
