I breed and sell the fish I keep.
I have shipped hundreds if not a thousand boxes of fish all over the US successfully.
I have even pulled off HawaiI more then 10 times [ I got a regular customer there!]
But I have never shipped to the Virgin Islands .Wondering if anyone has any experience with this location.
I will be shipping there tomorrow so wondering how it will go?

If you pulled off Hawaii, I can’t imagine not being able to pull off this.

I agree. I believe a breeder at my LFS ships that far. Just curious, what do you breed? Do you have a website?

I am not sure if I am world class but I appreciate the flattery !
The box went out today. I always ship for free with my sales so I probably didn't mention this box was going 2-3 day priority[not overnight] . Sounds risky to many of you I am sure but the arrival date is the same as another box I sent to Florida today. I pack pretty well[like a pro actually] so I am not worried,my record for live arrival on 'lost fish' is 14 days in the winter for EBR. All 6 arrived 2 days before the second batch I sent .I always assumed they were kept indoors?
I'll report back how this goes when I find out .

Where are you selling? I can’t find anything on aquabid. I’d give you a real easy NY to OH shipment.

I am on aquabid. The rams are listed on the apisto page.It seems the other ram breeders [Yunite and Joe G] list their fish on this page so I do too. Maybe it is just old school as microgeophagus ramirezI was originally Apistogramma ramirezI by Meyers and Harry in 1948 ?.
That is where everyone finds me or forums like this one .
The selling of fish for me is like posting on forums . The way I look at it I am just trying share the knowledge and fish I have worked on for the better portion of my 41 years of fish keeping.
The best reward from selling fish has been the overwhelming satisfaction all my customers have shared with me .
Sending a pm.

All arrived alive and well !
I feel like a fat kid in candy store ! Sorry but I am amped to have such a monumental success [with the help of the USPS].
Nobody ever says anything good about the USPS but in the last 3 years of shipping I can only say most who pay for express shipping are either wasting their money thinking it will help or are just supporting sellers that have not one clue how to pack or ship fish and probably shouldn't be doing so.
USPS 2-3 day has proven far better then worse for me..
Did I mention that I guaranteed live arrival on these fish?? I do on all my shipments with no asterix.. LIke if fish are not delivered on time or if you don't sign....LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEED !
Another happy and successful week of shipping..All 5 boxes on time and 100% alive ! On to next Monday now ...

So he liked the Jet Blacks so much he has to have White Albinos now !
So I will push my luck and ship again ..
All packages have 3 day delivery this week including a fellow NYer not even 3 1/2 hours away except one [not the one to Virgin Islands ].
Our fishlore girl bizaliz3 gets 2 day delivery according to the USPS..Must just be the fish Gods are really pulling for her ..

Just sayin'... I've shipped and received corals via USPS Priority. This allowed for long distance hobbyist to hobbyist frag trading, which is quite the steal when compared to online vendors and their exorbitant shipping costs.

I try to hook people up !
If I did not get rid of my fish I would have to stop or slow down my breeding efforts . That is unacceptable IMO.
So a couple years ago I started to ship and learned how to ship successfully and now my fish are all over the country ! Pretty cool for an old fish head in upstate NY !
I have a customer who works in Maine right on the boarder . He lives in Canada and has had my fish shipped to him at work several times also so I guess I got fish in Canada also!
Fair to say my fish get around !
