Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?
His name is Smudge
That's weird!
If he seems healthy I wouldn't worry about it.
Maybe just some fin rot that healed weirdly
Thank you! I can stop worrying now haha. Actually I kinda like it...,,it makes him uniqueive seen this before and its something I wouldnt worry about its just the way it has healed or grown. he looks perfectly healthy and happy.
Thank youI would just leave it.
Cute little guy.
Oh no! I will just leave it, he seems so happyIf you really hate it, I know you can perform minor cosmetic surgery on arowana by putting them out with clove oil, taking them out of water, and cutting their fins a little with VERY sharp scissors so that they'll grow back nicer.
I don't know if you can with Betta's and clove oil can be lethal in high doses so I would only do that if you're comfortable.
That would be my first suggestionOh no! I will just leave it, he seems so happy

I've had a couple of pinky purple ones in my time but never a really purple one he was quite pale in the store but when I got him home and started acclimatizing him to the tank water he literally changed colour before our very eyes. My 6 year old son was completely amazed. He was like "wow mommy Smudge is changing colour" lolive never seen such a purple betta. he has lots of different shades of purple and they are all very nice colours. nice and vibrant, my mom would love him lol, she loves purple. he is looking very happy in his new home, its amazing how different his colours look in certain lighting. is always fun discovering what kind of character they are
