Hi. In my 40 gallon, I notice a harlequin rasbora flash on his belly. Now, if it were his gill, then I would treat the tank with prazipro; however, since it flashed its belly a few times, I am not sure how to treat the tank. What do you think it could be? Should i treat it with just aquarium salt?

My ammonia and nitrite levels are 0.0ppm.

Occasional flashing doesn't always mean parasites. Maybe he just had an itch. :)

Is it an ongoing behavior or just something you saw that one time?

If it's ongoing, how are the other fish? Can you inspect them up close with a magnifying glass? How are their gills and respiration rates?
