Happy two years!

Today, I've been a member of FishLore for two years and two days (and about two hours, scarily... LOL)! =D

You guy's have gotten me through tough times, with not only my fish, but my dogs and rabbits, too. I'm so glad to have found this site when I was researching for bettas =3

So, Happy Two Years for me =D

 

I also reached my two year mark this month. I forget the exact day. i'm sure it says on my profile though. haha. i've learned a lot too! I started with a betta bowl, and will now be setting up a 150 gallon next week!

ahh, feb 24th! so I guess mine hasn't technically come yet. hehe.

I started (when I joined FishLore) with a red CT betta, named Cornelious, in a 1 1/2 gallon tank (he was a lazy-butt, so even after I moved him to a 3 gallon, he still just hung out in his plants waiting for food to drop from the sky, and flaring at anyone who got too close XD), and a 10 gallon with a couple Guppies =3 I was certainly on the right track. But then FishLore infected me with MTS...

haha yes, celebrating early.....and with a 150 no less. ;D you know what I just realized was different, about our info in the blue box? our number of years of experience is gone. I couldn't figure it out, until we started talking about this anniversary....which is also two years of fishkeeping for me.

Oh snap. It is gone! I've been doing this (properly-ish) for like 5 years. I dunno why its gone... Probably to take away the assumption that just because some has been keeping fish for 10 years, doesn't mean they have have been doing it "right" (humanely, or whatever).

 

ohhhh, and our gender is gone too. hmmm. I kind of liked that one....I just felt, idk, more connected to the person, in some straaange way....if I knew their gender. lol
