I would have never re set up my aquarium if I had known I'd have to move it in a month. Well I was at camp my mom decided to redo the floors. Including my room. So I'm only 2 weeks into cycling just prime and water changes. And now I have to move it. My fish are very stressed with all the stuff going on. Hammers banging. excetra. How should I move my plants ?they just started to put roots down or start to greenify.

Ah. I have a five gallon bucket a 5 and 10 gallon ,empty, and a syphone ,not a python. What can I do also how can I move the substrate without killing bacteria. Finale question my filter has a REALY hard time getting to flow after I turn it of. As in I have to poor water into it with a cup for a minute. And just cleaned the propeller and washed out the tube.

Please help. If I lose one or more or all I'm going to have a migraine. And probably get ick mabey culmunaris and velvet and bloat.

Can I just get some help. And if anyone asked it was not ment 2 be a fish in cycle. I was using tss and it died on me.

Are you moving to a new house or do you just have to move the tank out of your room?

Syphon your water from the tank into the bucket, put your fish in there, get the rest of the water out( maybe leave and inch or so water in there)you should be able to carry the tank and everything after that. Move it to where you want it to be, refill it, dose with prime. Try to get water close to same temp. Put your filter back on the tank. Having to fill a hang on the back with water is normal. Acclimate them to your new tank water.

Most of the bacteria you have developed so far should be in the filter media. But leave an inch or so water in the bottom to keep the substrate wet. I don't know much about plants so maybe someone else can chime in on that

If you have an air stone or something put that in the bucket also while you move the tank. Maybe get some more TSS also

Thank you. No I'm not moving t
2 a new house but I do have to move it. And the fish might sit a while as the new floor will take a while to put in. Just glad I only have one tank.

Ps: I haven't been able to add tss with knowing I'd have 2 move the tank. And in experience tss like to be left alone for 2 weeks

We recently moved with our 20G, above has been answered great

When we moved everything we just filled out 20L bucket with water from the tank, kept a sponge filter in there for a while during the move, they were in there for maybe 4 hours

Then just only kept the 20L they were in, and the move went fantastic
