Welcome to the forum

You should not have two in the same tank in the first place unless your tank is huge. They are known to be highly territorial and aggressive to their own kind. I don't find it surprising that one is getting all the food and injuring the other. The one growing is the more dominant one. They are probably having multiple territorial disputes everyday.

Anyway, to answer your question, yes the pinchers should grow back.

Welcome to Fishlore!
Sometimes they can be territorial with each other. Even in a larger tank they are best kept as singles. They have the ability to regenerate limbs when they molt. I've heard this more than I've seen it, but it's possible.

elo again
thankyou both for the info its very helpful.....so it looks like the fish shop I got them from missled me before I bought them.....I did ask about puttin them in the same tank, they said it was fine aslong as I give them atleast 20gallons of space on each side of the tank and they would stay away from the other, I thought this was reasonable because they had 5 in the same 20 gallon tank, iv had them now for about 2 months and don't seem to no each other is there but I think at night its a different story................I have 120 gallon tank and its 4ft long any other info on how to keep them would be a great help coz they r very nice to look at and don't want to get rid of them.
thank you very much

You can try to block their field of vision. Heavily decorate the tank so that their field of vision is blocked. Make clear territorial borders. Feed at both sides of the tank. Even if you do all this I'm guessing your crayfish will meet at some point no matter what and those meetings could be dangerous for both of them.

120 ought to be more than enough for 2 to coexist. If they are fighting then I would guess that it has to do with the decor of the tank. can you post a pic?

Lost limbs will regenerate. Have you ever seen them mating? One on it's back, the other on top.
