Is there where I tell you all its been 86-91 here lately and we're all freezing cold and would probably enjoy something around the 100s? ;P Just came back from a cafe outside (currently about 90) and was shivering wearing pants and a long sleeved shirt + jumper.
Also... Thank you fishlore for the temp conversion below!

It got to 109 yesterday and today in southern WI. We had a record setting 3/10 inches of rain in June. We normally average 4 inches during the month. It hasn't rained in weeks. I've been leaving my sprinklers on all night starting at about 8:30pm just to keep the grass, trees, and veggies from dying. We have a burn ban here as well, but since we live in town and our grill is out of gas the ban hasn't affected us. It's supposed to cool off to the 90's next week, but I'll be in Chicago for work so who knows what that will bring me...

8 to 10 days of consecutive 100 + temps( I lost count now, it's too hot to think) high today is supposed to be 108, but yesterday was supposed to be 105 and it hit 108 yesterday, so we will see...

It is amusing to see what everyone's comfort zone is. You sure can tell who is from warmer climates and who is from colder ones.

Mine is about 85F. I don't mind the heat.

Mine is the opposite of whatever the weather is.

Nope, made me hate the Army's policies about running at 6am in the morning ;-).

Ice fishing in the negatives makes 40 degrees feel like paradise.
Above 32 for me is t shirt and short weather

Makes me feel like I already died, lol.
...not that I know what 0 F feels like. The coldest we get here is low teens in C. I despise low teens. In fact, any teens in celcius. I don't really like the low 20s either. Or 20s generally... 100 F sounds nice and metric to me!

100*f is about 38*c... I like 60*f(15*c)-75*f(24*c) for t-shirt weather, but I much prefer sub-freezing temps to those over 80*f(27*c). At 100*f, I refuse to be outside if I can help it.

This is crazy. 102 here yesterday, 103 predicted for today. Only upper 90s for Sunday though ! A brisk week in the upper 80's follows that.

You guys get completely mad extremes in temperatures. The folks who are melting now with 100+ also seem to be those who get blizzards in winter. I think that kind of variation would be really hard to handle.

It is currently 59 F (15c) and highs will be 78 F (25C), had to put a wind breaker on to walk the dogs. Our heat wave is suppose to be coming soon. Next week forecast is in the 80s (26Cs).

Heat is supposed to come and finally feel like summer!

Yesterday actually hit 90F. That's only the 3rd day of reaching 90 this year.

At 7:45 am it is 61F with 63% humidity. High supposed to reach 97. If we go from low 70s to high 90s in 2 days it's gonna be hard to handle. I just hope the humidity dropsin or it will be miserable.

I was wondering if it cooled off in the midwest! He hit 95 today. And tomorrow is predicted to be 100F. I know I wanted summer, but a 35 degree rise in temps in only 4 days is a bit much!

Now the heat has crossed the ocean...
again temperatures rose above 100°F in most of the country. Even where I live, about 15 miles from the Atlantic, yesterdays max reached 102. Inland it reached 108...

My fishtank's water was at 84°, yesterday evening - I've lost a Ram, maybe to the heat, maybe it was already ill...
These temps would be good for discus!

Sorry to hear about your ram, fishie deaths are always sad times.

We should be getting above 100 near the end of the week, finally. We were around 114 last August, I'm really curious to see what happens this August. Those temps plus a really bad drought last year really screwed things up. So far, we seem to have the drought thing down, though not as severe at this time. I heard if we have a repeat of last year, things are really going to turn out bad.

The daytime highs for me haven't been in the 70s in weeks. it has been high 80s and low 90s pretty consistently. I am not used to this and having a hard time functioning.

Its going to be a balmy 95F tomorrow in philadelphia. It was above 100 just a week ago. The meteorologists have predicted at least 20 days above 90 in july.

There's a certain point when even the air conditioning doesn't cool like it used too...

I went out for about an hour this morning to try to sell a moped and I don't think that I will be going outside again for a while. We need to build a massive fan in canada and blow their cold air south

My Trans Am lost its transmission last night. That leaves me with my '68 Grand Prix. Black exterior, black vinyl interior, no A/C, 106*F weather this weekend... Oh this is going to be fun.
