It's going to get hot tomorrow about 78 degrees....I'm thankful for the coastal breeze though.

It been 90 and above here all week I unplugged all the heaters to the tanks and all at 80 to 82 degrees. Odens had to get a cold water change due to it reaching 90 I acclimated him to the new temp and he is doing great at 80 degrees.

We're 100+ here. It was 108 yesterday and is 103 so far today. We've also been put on a water conservation advisary, so that should be an interesting challenge come water change time.

I would be in heaven at 78 degrees but nope it is 98 and I am a very crankie preggo cuz the central air broke and everyone around me is sold out of acs so when I am home I am in my bikinI trying to beat the heat and at work the AC is so I am in skirts and light weight dress shirts. Plus a big jug of Ice water.

I'm about the same, after going to Central Oregon to get some sun! At home, 80 is hot, and 90 is, like, a once-a-year occurrence.

My iPhone's Weatger Channel app reports that current conditions here at 6pm are 100F, Feels Like 107F. I don't know how they can be so accurate on the feels like - all I know is it feels too hot for me. Luckily we got good AC at home, so the fish continue to experience a nice 78F, and being inside now I am beginning to recover from commute-in-old-car-with-kind-of-working-AC-eventually-sometimes-when-lucky-otherwise-hotter-in-car-than-outside-if-unlucky (today I was unlucky and feel a bit car cooked).

Rain
rain
more rain.

That's what we usually get in western Washington (U.S). We had a few beautiful days in April, but this June we've gotten almost as much rain as we get in November. It's depressing, but I'm glad we aren't boiling.

Right around 100 here too, although since my husband is practically a polar bear we have central air turned to the 'arctic' setting. I might even need a sweater!

It rained 11 of the 13 days I was there in April/May. The first two days were sunny and in the low 70's. After that, rain, rain , rain, and then it rained.

It only reached 91 in here today. Yesterday was 103. It's supposed to be in the upper 90's/lower 100's for at least the next week. We haven't had rain in weeks, maybe even a month. Crops are dying. My garden isn't growing. However, the AC is FABULOUS!

Here the outside café's are also nice and it's 20°C (=68F) as well. But now... And it's nearly midnight.

The weather cooled quite a bit - earlier this week the temperatures hit 42° (107 F) in the interior part of the country - where I live, close to the coast, temps reached 100 F.

But it's always nice to take a strawl in the evening and not have to get a sweat-shirt on...

Are you allowed to do water changes... or are you not asking?

I think it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

I'm not asking ;-)
Already kinda reamed on water bill. Its a small town so they average out what you use the 1st few months and that's what your bill is. Had to set up a 90 gal tank soon as we moved in with water changes everyday because it cycled on me. So we probably pay more than we should anyway!

It was about 109 here today and the same tomorrow.
They've banned fires including outdoor grilling.

The grass is like hay. My tulip poplar's leaves have turned brownish yellow and are starting to fall off.

Hopefully we'll get some rain by the weekend.

Well I..uh.. kinda..... took a break? Hahaha I'm here for business. I only arrived this morning (your time). I'm on the EuroStar now speeding towards London right now. I'm getting on a plane home after I attend a conference there. I get off the train, get in a private car, go to the conference, and go to the airport. I'll be back washing sand by tomorrow LOL.

Our trees started withering too, so my husband has been rigging buckets with water to try and keep them alive. Our forecast doesn't look too promising for any rain in the near future.

Cichlidnut, I have a dear friend in Colorado Springs who had to evac due to the fire. Thankfully, he is back home now.
