I would love to hear everything your bettas love so I can maximize my bettas quality of life I plan to upgrade to a 30 gallon tank he has 3 tanks mates 2 snails a bristlenose Pleco thank you!! (Have 10 Gallon right now) (Pleco is still young and want to upgrade before he frowns anymore)

My guy loves his Indian almond leaves, and he actually enjoys playing in the bubbles from an air stone. He likes to lay on stuff, and he likes his betta caves. And he will dance for his food, and practically begs for attention.

 

When we got him only 4 days ago he had no color on his main body practically and was quite sickly looking

I’m just so excited to seem him so happy and moving around so actively ! He is in a 10G with a Nerite snail and a ram horn snail and a bristlenose Pleco all three had been in the tank before him and he does great with them never showed any aggression or stress Gonna be upgrading to a 30G when my Pleco gets to 2.5 inches in length ! Any recommendations or tips are appreciated on anything!

I would remove the ramshorn snail because it is sometimes considered a pest snail. However, I have a few in my tank and will add blanched cucumber to lower the population a little. They are a good cleanup crew. Even if you have one, they can lay hundreds of egg sacks like mine did.

Even with only one ram horn oh no i have no other tank for him to right now besides a quarantine tank I’d hate to get rid of him and other things I could do

I totally wiffed on them being asexual and able to reproduce maybe when I upgrade to 30 gal I can get an assassin snail?

I honestly don’t know but definitely not full size he is only about 1.25 inches long sadly for him from petco as I didn’t know private breeders were a thing till I picked up the hobby fully for bettas
