Couldn’t resist this guy at the store kept goin back to check him out and the 5.5 my koi leaped from was looking a bit bare. And beside what else am I gonna do with all these betta buffet pellets
So happy you saved that betta! I hate seeing bettas in small containers at my lfs, only to then be stuffed into a tiny fishbowl to live their lives that way.Couldn’t resist this guy at the store kept goin back to check him out and the 5.5 my koi leaped from was looking a bit bare. I think the green on his dorsal fin is just cause he was in the store bowl and under the LED but yes I agree I really like the way his colors are. I seen one little scale messed up but I am very regimented with my WC's so I have no doubt he will heal and color up very well. Any name suggestions?I love how every fin is a different color palette. Almost like he's tie dyed.
yes I agree it is sad. They should be acclimated and added to the community tanks even at the chain stores just to give them a bit more room to move around. And i'm sure it would help to get them a bit more used to other fish in "their tank" even though we all know every fish is different!!So happy you saved that betta!
