Had the male GBR for 2 months. Got another one, but didn't know it's a female

I've got a male GBR (German Blue Ram) for 2 months. He's about 3in now. Today when going to petsmart I saw a much nicer Ram than mine, but only 2in in length. It has a red belly and more vivid colors, even thought it's small. I bought that one. When I got home I did some research and realized I bought a female one. But I don't want them to breed and get aggressive towards other fish. I don't want to return the female either, since she's so pretty. I was wondering if there's a way to keep them from getting paired and breed?

The female compared to full-sized platy:

The male (I could be wrong though)

You need to create Afew More territories for your fish and they should be fine get some driftwood and Afew larger plants or some clay pots and coconut caves for them to hide and they should all be fine

My past experience with them is they will most likely pair. I had a pair they made beds quite frequently and they would chase each other as well as the other fish but never any nipping or damage. In my mind this is good for all fish as it gives them exercise.

As your tank goes I would look at adding a lot more plants to give everyone somewhere to hide/escape from chases.
