Gyre Question

HamSnacks

Ordered a Gyre XF150 and a XF230 from a seller (used), when they arrived turned out it was a XF130 and 230 instead. Now the seller has offered me a discount if I just keep them, but was wondering what your opinions are, will they be strong enough if I have one on each end.

Tank dimensions:

225Gallon
72 inches wide
30 inches deep
24 inches high
Overflow in the middle, was thinking 1 Gyre for each end.

I know it depends on a lot of factors, but I guess for general water movement for Coral and moving debris, would that be enough power?

Thank you.

Should be fine given the small disparity. Gyres tend to generate more flow and power than powerheads. Just keep an eye on things and go from there. Incidentally could you post back your results here? I am actually looking at possibly upgrading from my Hydor Koralia powerheads and have been considering going with a gyre.

I'd like to help but run Jebaos .
I do love my gyres .
On the 120 marine I run 1 large and one small not on full in a wave setting .
In my 180 Freshwater [6x2] I run 1 large on full constant flow. It has pushed the gravel to the end it is on from the deflection off the otherside , 6 feet away !
The tank has no gravel on one end and 6-8 inches on other !
