Just went to the lfs to get the tiger barbs, but they had a power cut! typical! so as not to stress out the fish more, they weren't selling + somehow having the power cut caused a flood as well so there was water everywhere! lol never mind, I'll go back another day!

sounds like they didn't setup their aeration properly. :

 

lol! they are pretty new mind! 2 months ago they didn't have tanks, then a month ago they got some tanks and 2 weeks ago they had fish! lol. They are pretty good! maybe they just haven't finished setting up yet!

 

then we have to give them the benefit of our expertise! tell them to sign up to Fishlore and we'll help them to get it right! Oh, and I haven't got a fish house yet.... it's just being built in my garage. Take a look at the thread

got 2 new guppies today. females. 1 is already pregnant from the store somehow and spot seems to be taking care of the other one

well livebearers can drop over a period of days and then of course have a batch of fry every 25-28 days or so.

I have all the fry in the 5gal Q-tank now. Theres some pics at the start of this thread.

Well I haven't been here for ages! but you can forget about all the fry in the 5gall. As TI'm and Dave know they all died within a day, so here's some more recent news :

• 1 of the female adults died but I still have the other
• I have 4, 3 month old fry - 3 females, 1 male
• I also have 2 smaller fry which I dnt know how old they are or if they are male or female.

All these are in my 7.5gall, all females soon to be moved out into the 15gall.

In the 15gall I still have 4 shrimp who seem to be doing well.

Long time no see!!!

ok so i'm back!.... again... lol.

I still have guppies in the 7.5gall and shrimp in the 15gall. Might get a betta in the 15gall soon so I can't wait. How's everyone doing?

My favorite is the 15 gallon. Very nicely decorated. I especially like the Tardis and Dalek.
