I have been breeding guppies for a couple of years, for fun. I only have one tank for my breeding parents and a separate tank for all of the young. Last month both of my females reduced the number of fry and have not produced since. Typically they had 28-32 young every 28 days. It has been 34 since the one has dropped and 30 for the other. One appears to be pregnant whereas the other does not. Any clue as to why this has happened? Both females are only one year old, Black Moscow variety

The more batches of fry guppies drop, the more fry they have the potential to carry. So, they are probably holding back while their larger batches develop.

Is there a chance they are done reproducing?

Naw, they'll drop fry till the day they die provided they are healthy enought to support it.
