Unfortunately, I feel like I’ve been here very frequently lately but now one of my guppies looks a little strange. I believe she just gave birth and has since had what looks like dry, flakey skin on the top of her body. Hopefully the pictures help explain what I’m trying to describe. She wouldn’t hold still for me to take them IMG_2035.JPGIMG_2036.JPGIMG_2037.JPG

It could be a fungus in which case treat with api general cure. Also do a water change and test your water post the results.

Ok so just to get started what are your water parameters? It could be because of that or if not, it could be some kind of fungus.

As of about five minutes ago, it was ammonia: 0 nitrite: 0 nitrate: 10-20 ph: 8.0

    I’d say it’s a fungus, guppies need 6.8 - 7.8 pH I don’t think 8.0 would hurt that much but I’m guessing a fungus.
