Can guppy fry live and grow without a heater and filter? Can they live at 71 Fahrenheit?

Nitrates won't build up without a filter. You will need regular water changes to remove ammonia...

Guppies are found naturally at temperatures between about 65 and 82 F.

I suppose they can. But the hassle of all the water changes to keep the ammonia down seems like more work that it would be worth. And you should at least have an air-stone or power-head to keep the water from being stagnant.

Is this the 2 gallon? If so, I would think it would be a real pain to keep parameters in check without a filter in a tank that size.... :/
