Guppy Cyst

Hey all, I seem to have an issue within my guppy community tank, its about 35 litres with 5 guppies, a chain loach and a cory for cleaning. I had one of my guppies pass away a few days ago from dropsy and now another one seems to have a large almost double orange cyst producing from near their anus. He rarely swims down now so it might be a burst swim bladder but I'm not sure sorry, here's a photo. Please help!

Oh no... this isn't a cyst, poor girl.

This is a prolapse and outlook is very poor. Usually they won't survive. Your best bet is to do extra water changes, keep that water super pristine, add some antibiotics if you can, and hope she recovers on her own, but chances are it will get worse.

The kindest option would be euthanasia with clove oil, but it couldnt hurt to try to see if she can pull through if she is still acting normal for the time being. But if she starts hiding or not eating or seems in pain (clamped fins, hunched, hiding, lethargic) it would be time to let her go.
I'm so sorry. Its very difficult to save a fish with a prolapse in this degree.

Thank you for the help. It is really sad to know that as they have recently had babies and they just started to get their colours in another tank but that's really helpful to know thank you

I agree prolapse.
Possibly Epsom salt baths ?
You would have to search it though as I have not had a fish survive a prolapse like the one your has .
YOu need to look into what you are feeding .Gupps need some vegetable in their food ..

I will try the epsom salt bath and I have been feeding them tablets with brine shrimp, gammarus and spirulina and some micro wafers that have spirulina, vegetable proteins and astaxanthin if that helps!

Good foods YES !
Some times the issue can be genetic also and we have little to no control .

Nobody thinks this is from the recent birthing?

Nobody thinks this is from the recent birthing?
The fish in pic looks pregnant still.
I have seen this after birthing though so then in which case I could believe they could be related some how possibly ..
