guppie mania

Shoo, :-[ I have about 20 guppies now, from 3, two females and one male, they bred and bred and bred, I took all the males out and theyre still breeding and having baibes and more babies!

be careful when having guppies, males and females together, females can store sperm for up to a year or something rediculous like that, it long! after separating them about 3 months ago ive had about 6 sets of fry. each time I separate them and place them in a new pond my husband built, its actually nice, I don't need a heater in summer cos the water temp is always around 26C or 27C and in winter ill switch the heaters on cos water will drop to about 18C. so they breed and go crazy in there and they have soooo much space to play and they get to eat mosquito larvae and 'kak aan jaag" that's afrikaans for just cause S...# ive since produced so very pretty looking males in the pond.

so just a word of warning, they breed like crazy!
