My swordtails started breeding and i got a grand total of


(Drumrolls)





2 FRY



this is the first batch of fry so hopefully they increase in no of fry produced lol

If you have some good hiding places in the tank, you may have more than two. I frequently don't see much of the new fry in my breeding tank until they're a month or so old (they start showing themselves more readily once they're past snack-size for the adults).

Mine will hide in the Java moss, they hide between and under the top substrate stones (they're river-pebble size), they hide in the dwarf rosette sword and the rhizome-roots of the anubias. Anywhere that the adults can't easily see or get to them.

Well i have a cemented tank full of plants plus my climate is more warm as i live in India i still feel they may have not eaten cause as far as i know i used to keep swordtails they gave only 2 first time then they gave like 10 plus in sec spawning which are now adults
