A buddy gave me a male and female of these guys. Should be a fun fish. What are they....... Brian
I have a few questions for ya. South American, right? Closely related to the jaguar cichlid? Do they have a "common name" since you have a penchant for the "difficult to pronounce"?
South American.....nope. Looks like a jag huh........ Common name yes it does have one but then google would make you the winner so I can't tell ya......
Sieve cichlids? Please don't tell me their jag's. I will literally smack myself if they are.
No but grammodes would be fun to do wouldn't they? And no not Jag's, don't tell anyone but I don't like them.....
:giggle: Are they Cuban cichlids? If not, are they Guapotes? BTW-as I'm looking for these, I'm getting myself into ALL KINDS of trouble finding more cichlids that I want for these empty tanks. I'm going to need some more double-stacking stands
Very good yes they are Cubans, Nandopsis Tetracanthus.
Woohoo! I got it! Nope, I did it all by myself. Scary, huh? Slug's not even online right now.;D

Hey Slug, I guessed this one, but I'm lost on the other. Wanna help a lady out?
