Do it! I set up a 2.5 g bowl a few months ago for snails and I love it!

 

Get it, I got a 3.5g cylinder setup a couple months ago and the plants are growing like crazy with no maintenance.

 

I spotted 9 fry today, which means there’s likely more than that! At this rate, I’ll definitely need to rehome some within a few months!
