hi,

I went into my LFS and they have some juvenile GSP's (about 2 inches).

I have done a lot of research on these and know although they grow to 6 inches, they need space as they are messy and aggressive.

As they are juveniles, could I start with a higher number, say 6 or 8, with the intention of moving them to a bigger thank when they are getting bigger?

There is lots of plants and lots of regular water changes. I am also aware of the brackish requirements.

Thanks.

What size tank do you have right now? Usually the minuium is 30 gallon and they do best in a 55 gallon

120 litre - which is about 31 gallons. I could at some point in the next year or so upgrade to a much bigger tank. For now - whilst they are juviniles, but ok in a group of 6-8 in a 31 gallon?

lots of frequent water changes etc. It is well planted.

May I add on the the query as to what size tank would work for 2 or 3 GSP once they reach full size - rather than minimum the size that they'd be really happy in?
