Stupid starter aquarist I was two years ago got a rainbow shark for a community tank. Well, this sucker got pretty big and he is NOT nice. I know they are on the aggressive side but he's injuring fish now and even nips at me when I clean the tank. I can't keep him in there anymore it's not fair to the others.
I have another tank with a convict a #firemouth and two tiger Oscars. The convict is also super aggressive and the Oscar's are lazy and docile. I think they are probably about 8 inches. The shark is 3+ inches. I'm wondering what the likelihood is of them surviving together. The tank they are in is a 75 gal and I intend on upgrading that this summer to a 125 if possible.
Before y'all start coming at me for mismatching fish, I KNOW now. It's a learning process, for everyone.
