Is anybody using grow light in their planted tank?
Is it the right choice to glow them along with my T5 6500k?

Currently am planning to invest on cheaper one!

I used to use a grow light bulb alongside my T5HO bulbs when I had fluorescent bulbs.

Is your T5HO are full spectrum ? If so I guess grow light is not needed.

I second my t5's as my plants are growing slower but healthy!

I was using grow light bulbs but to be honest the small amount of extra growth I got compared to my normal fluro 6500k wasn't worth the $$$ so I just use 6500k fluro now

Just be careful not to have so much light that algae breaks out.

It is the "visible light spectrum".

Don't want to create so many thread so here I go. Which one is better along with Hagen life glo.

I have two fixtures and sure about Life glo in one fixture and thinking which one to add on another one power glo or aqua glo?
Which combination will work the best?
