grout any good

Allo peeps.
I'm new to tank keeping. 5 weeks ago I was given an old 25ltr green tank, that I cleaned up to look brand new.
I put 6 mollies, a little cave and a olaf(frozen) statue.
I gave it to my 3 year old for her birthday, but after she got bored with it, I found myself obsessed with it.
I've just bought a 65ltr and have built a polystyrene background.
now I planned on coating it in concrete, that I knew I had in my shed.
when I went to get it, I saw it had gone off in the bag, so I used a bag of anthracite coloured grout that I had knocking about instead.
1. Is this ok?
2. Should I seal it?
cheers

Hi, and welcome to fishlore. First off mollies need a 30 gallon tank to thrive so a 25litre is overstocked with 6 of them in it, secondly do you know about the nitrogen cycle? And lastly, to answer your question concrete is not safe for fish and will heighten your pH. I hope this helped!

The concrete will eventually cure fully and will stop affecting ph.

I don't know about the grout unfortunately.

Thanks.
I know the 25ltr tank is small, which is why I making the background for a 65ltr.
By the way. I now have 20.
Fry all over the place, so I'm in a rush to it finished now.
I decided to paint over the grout with acrylic paint and then seal the whole thing with G4.
I'm guessing that's fine as its for pond sealing?
