Griffin our African Grey

Meet Griffin. I have wanted a bird for a LONG time now and finally talked hubby into it. Griffin is a 1 year old TAG. Timneh African Grey. He is super smart and just a joy to have! We just brought him home on Sunday so he's still getting used to us but he's doing super so far. He is of course a rehome like most of my animals are. He came from a good home they just couldn't keep him anymore so he was placed up for adoption and we were chosen to be his new family!! He steps up and loves to get head scritches.lol. Here a video of him. He's just now learning to talk so we will have lots of fun teaching him new words. He still is a little unsure of me and does try to bite but I know with time and patience on my part he'll love me!.. of course lots of yummy healthy treats won't hurt either.. So hear is Griffin!

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cesch......I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy for u!!!!!!! Fineally......wow!!!!!! He's a cutie!!!!!!!!! I know how long u waited.....it was meant to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....u won't have any trouble with that sweetie!!!!!!!!!and In your house he will be one happy baby!!!!!!! there's just no other way
I'm laughing to myself......hubby won't be able to resist....u just watch......I catch Mike all the time talking to the birds when he thinks I don't see him.....even my little ones who hes scarred of......lol....

 

Thanks guys. He is a cutie. Yup Jeff is already smitten. He talks to him every morning before he goes to work, He gives him scratches and says "gotta go to work" I think Griffin will end up saying that because Jeff says it every morning..lol. He does the same thing at lunch and when he gets home he talks to him all the time..Griffin really likes him but he better not end up Jeff's bird..lol He just loves scratches and will get them from whoever will hand them over. He's a good bird!
