Green Tiger Barb question

I've just noticed that one of my green tiger barbs has a much fatter stomach than the others. Could she have eggs or is there something more serious wrong. Not even sure she is female as I'm finding it difficult to sex them. I'd appreciate any advice thanks.

In the top photo it's the fish in the middle. In the bottom photo it's the top one. Managed to get a better pic

Its a he. Orange fin means male.

Is there anything I can do for bloating? The tiger barbs are greedy. They are the first in, when feeding

I would not feed him for 3 days. Fish can go a week without food. Try feeding peas on day 4. I feed mine a mix between API flakes or dried bloodworms, Frozen treats(meaty food) and peas.

I started breeding ghost shrimp because boy do they love to hunt them down.

OK thanks for that. Will give it a try. He actually doesn't look quite as bloated today.

Orange fins do not mean male or female, though the males can be more brightly colored. I have a female that looks exactly like yours. Mine is well rounded through out her lower body. You could try not feeding for a couple of days just to be safe but more than likely you have a mature male and female in the tank and she's starting to build up eggs. Same thing happened to me. Then my male started getting super aggressive to everyone else in the tank. I end up moving him to a different tank and she lost her stomach.

I didn't feed yesterday and it didn't seem as swollen this morning. The problem is I'm having to starve all the other fish too as I don't have a separate tank. The tiger barbs are definitely the greedy ones. I try to distract them normally, whilst the others feed, otherwise they would take it all. Will not feed again today then try the shelled pea tomorrow and see how that goes

It's actually health for their digestive system for you to not feed them at least once a week. Fish can actually go a couple of weeks without eating and be completely fine. I recently went on vacation and they didn't eat for 4 days and were exactly as I left them when I returned. If not feeding is helping with the bloating just don't feed for a couple more days and let their digestive systems clear
