I was wondering how many of you have had success with a GT in a planted tank? I have a planted 55g with 2 peacock bass with some neons, rummy nose tetras, guppys, and platies(food/snacks) and a bristle nose pleco. I want to add a green terror but I know from having cichlids in the past they like to uproot plants and dig so im just wondering before I put one in and have him destroy the tank as he grows.

It depends on the fish. I have had one in a 55 with lots of plants. I know others who have not been able to keep the GT from digging them up. If you try it just be ready to have the plants rearranged. If your ok with that, go for it.

don't risk it, once the GT tears one up, it will tear the others up and its not worth the hassle. Besides, I would just add a more variety of tetras.
