I kept s/w for many years and got out of it due to family issues.. I now have two 55 gal brackish and would like to get thoughts of keeping a green spotted with mainly electric yellow chilids. The chilids are new born to about 2 inches average with a couple in each tank pushing 3.5 or so.

I'd say no. At most, you could 2 GSPs in a 55g. As far as keeping them with cichlids; along with serious aggression issues and the fact cichlids are much faster at catching food than puffers, the cichlids need their own tanks to meet their freshwater African lake requirements.

Thanks, so much. I'll probably end up setting up another tank... that's never a bad thing :)
