Questions:
1) How long have you had him?
2) What do you mean "extra salt"--is a proper brackish tank? What are your dissolved solid readings and did you acclimate him very slowly between the pet store and this setup?
3) Is it cycled, and what are your readings there?
4) what size aquarium?
5) What are your parameters-- temperature, pH, Ammonia, Nitirites, Nitrates, etc.
5) Pictures?

Very sorry to hear that, Billiam333 Loosing a fish--especially as amazing and personable as a puffer--is so hard.

Please feel free to ask for help here again in the future. We have a lot of very knowledgeable people. Keep the questions I asked in mind, because the more info we have, the better. Swim in Peace, little puffer.
