That's a nice fish but angles like a tank that is densely planted

I believe it's either a purple zebra or cobalt zebra angelfish.

Hmm yea, might have to special order one of those myself... I'm torn between angelfish or rainbowfish still. Maybe I should do both...

Thank you and I do realize that. I bought all my plants small and I'm waiting for them to fill in. I'm new to plants and since they are all doing so well; I'm planning on getting more as soon as my budget will allow.

I'd just save the money for something else. Let your current plants grow and propagate/trim the plants and use those to grow new plants. Did I make sense? lol

I like having a variety of plants. Tall, short, skinny, fat, bushy, etc

Thanks! And yes that does make sense :). I actually do have more plants than what appears in the picture. I have an anubias nana which I did propagate recently. Some crested Java fern and about 10 baby narrow leaf Java ferns. I'm patiently waiting for them to grow.

The guy at my LFS said he was a pinoy. He's only 4 months old so his coloring isn't fully developed yet.

Hmm lol... I think that's how Filipinos refer to themselves...

Yea he looks like a Filipino blue angel
They are quite rare in the hobby, so good luck raising him to adulthood
(Make him have babies, so we can all have pinoy Angels :D)

    :)

Getting some vallisneria, or even hornwort can make him/her feel even more secure in his environment
    Angelfish love heavily planted aquariums

    :)

I was actually thinking about getting some vallisneria... I tried hornwort, but it got too messy.

My LFS buys from a local breeder who lives in my town.

If you plant hornwort, the bottom will die off slowly and will cause a mess. That's why it's best to have it floating or put somewhere, and not planted.
