Gray tree frogs in pond

Here's some Gray Tree Frogs (Hyla versicolor) that stop by my pond at night and make lots of noise.

In case you were wondering, I let them back outside shortly after taking these pics.
Very cool, they just let me pick them up, and they stayed still for the pics! I'd love to have these as a pet if possible.
These are strictly nocturnal frogs that rarely come down from the trees except to breed, so I guess it's breeding season for them! lol

Thanks!
It's empty, except the bugs that crawl in and the frogs. Lol, it wasn't worthy of sharing before this......

Maybe you should fill it for the frogs to spawn? Tadpoles are great...hhehe

Yes, I will!
It rained furiously today. The eggs went from floating on the top to the bottom of the pond.
Not sure if that means anything......

nice pictures

I sometimes see some frogs that look like these, at night, when the summer is really warm and humid, they stick to my windows, looking for insects I guess, I'm wondering if they are the same specie, maybe? cool pictures!

Thanks marijo!
Maybe. These species as far as I know are all over Eastern US and Southeastern Canada. So maybe!

Not at all. They aren't afraid of humans, at least these weren't.

Back when we lived further out in the country, we used to hear all sorts of crickets and frogs and stuff! Not fun when you get a cricket in the garage though lol! Now that we live in the suburbs, we don't hear much of that stuff anymore, the sounds are different here. More like, people, cars, sirens, that sort of thing. Not so much sirens as it is cars and people though. Thankfully, they aren't usually too loud at night lol!
