Gravel Level For Plant

Should I raise the gravel level to be even with the top of the black part?

your not suppose to keep the plants in those pots. Thats like going to the garden center at home depo and keeping your pansies in those black plastic trays. Take the plant out of the pot and remove the rock wool from the roots. then bury your plant so the crown is just above the surface.

That's fine, the plant you purchased though was an amazon sword. They need a nutrient rich substrate to feed from, you should invest in some root tabs to put under it.
