gravel cleaner with multiple tanks

Is it ok to use a gravel cleaner in more than one tank or should each tank have its own? Is there a good way to clean it to be sure not to spread diseases in-between tank cleanings?

The gravel cleaner can be used in every tank but buy a cheap one for backup if you have multiple tanks. Use the spare one for diseased tanks only. IME I use the same Python gravel vac and garden hose in every tank and the same home depot bucket for every tank and have no problems. Up to you though

I use all the same stuff for every tank. Haven't had any problems.

Shouldn't be a problem! If you do have a tank that's diseased I suggest doing it last and then washing the hose (run it with water). Usually diseases won't stick to the hose if you are just using it for water changes.

I bought separate gravel vacs and buckets for each tank but soon after realized that I was using the same vac in multiple tanks. I try to remember to rinse it well between tanks and use a separate vac if there are issues in a specific tank.

Thanks for the responses. I think I have decided just to purchase another gravel vacuum. It took so many months for me to get my first tank perfect that I'm afraid to compromise it by using the same cleaning equipment from the other tank. I'm sure as all of you say, it would be fine but I guess I'm a bit odd and just can't get myself to do that. Ill spend another couple bucks and get something from Amazon.
