Gourmis, gold barbs and sep. tetras eating my false julli school's algae wafer

I give my 46 gallon a pinch of flake food they eat in one minute and one algae wafer of 10 mm each night. The false julli school (4) does get some of the wafer, but usually it is chowed down by the other fish. They've actually started looking around for the wafer now so they can beat the False julli school to it. Everything is getting eaten at least, but I wonder if I should cut down on the algae wafers to 3 a week. Thanks everyone.

That why I hide mine in a cave only my Julies can get into :).

with the exception of sand and live plants we have the same aquarium. :)
I'll hide the wafer for them and see if that helps. Thanks!

The Corys don't need algae wafers, so don't be concerned if they aren't getting to it. Corys eat worms, insects and small inverts in the wild, not algae. Normal fish food is good for them.

I usually feed repashy and NLS to my tanks and the Corys have NO problem competing for the food. When they are hungry the other fish best watch out lol. Most times I just overfeed a bit and the cories have no trouble.
