I'm putting together a list for fish to add to my tank and I've been reading up on gouramis, rainbows, and red cherry shrimp. Everything I've read so far points towards the shrimp doing fine with the gouramis and rainbows. I'm wondering if anyone has had problems keeping shrimp with these fish.

What type of gourami? Honey or sparkling gouramis will be fine with shrimp. Larger gouramis (and maybe dwarf grouamis, too) would see your cherry shrimp as fine dining. (This is crude), but you may want to experiment with a much less expensive ghost shrimp first.

I know nothing about rainbows and their eating habits.

i kept my big 4 inch 3 spot gourami with ghost shrimp and i never saw him chow on any, my honeys were perfectly good with my rcs, idk about the dwarf gourami, sad to say i have never had one, they are always too unhealthy to buy
