Gourami Swimming Weird Laying On Bottom Of Tank

HI so my gourami is swimming all funky and laying at the bottom of my tank sideways. I have an Aquaponic tank (very small) trying to be set up and I was gone for the weekend and had a friend taking care of my pets, well to two tetras died (one found the other MISSING?!?!) and the gourami is swimming weird. Can I fix this or is my gourami heading for the big blue ocean in the sky??

 

How many gallons/liters is the tank? Is the tank cycled?

I can’t answer your question about your gourami, it sounds like he may have SBD? As for your missing tetra, he was probably eaten after he died

5 gallons! And update the gourami did pass away. Honestly I’m just worried about why my fish died

What kind of gourami was she/he

 

5 gal is a bit small for the gourami. But if every single fish is fine and all the sudden, a large amount of fish died. I would say your friend might induce some kind of stress.
