HI there I think I was a little misinformed about my figure 8 puffer. First off, the label said when I bought him at the store claimed he was a green spotted puffer, and he was a quote "peaceful fish" well both of those things turned out to be untrue, this is clearly a figure 8 puffer, and gsp's are very aggressive. This puffer was sold as a freshwater fish, so that's what I put him in. At the store he was with other tetras so I assumed he would be OK. Turns out that they need brakish water, and are also aggressive? I have had him for a couple weeks now, and the only strange things that has happened to him was that he ate a dead cherry barb, and got ich, which was treated quickly. Other than that, he has been pretty normal, not chasing other fish around, just chilling and swimming around the tank and being fed the occasional malasyan trumpet snail but mostly bloodworms. It looks like he's fine to me, but other sources say he's in danger. What should I do? He is with 2 pearl gouramis and 5 cherry Barb's, and soon will be with some Cory's and a dojo loach. Any help? Thanks
